인간관계에서 발생하는 감정을 직관적으로 표현하는 추상화가 김도훈
1992년생 김도훈 작가는 ‘인간관계에서 나타나는 감정’을 관찰하고 이를 ‘Cover up(가리다)’, ‘Show up(드러내다)’, ‘Greed(욕심)’, ‘Rule(규칙)’, ‘Camouflage(위장)’의 5가지 주제로 표현하는데, 그 직관적인 표현이 특징이다. 작가는 경험을 바탕으로 관계 안에서 상황에 따라 시시각각 변화하는 감정에 주목하였고, 감정을 색과 면,질감 등으로 형태화하고 작업의 행위로써 추상적으로 표현한다.
특별히 Show up 시리즈는 간결하고 명확하게 감정선을 드러낸다. 다양한 형태로 긁어내면서 생성되는 작가만의 독창적인 마티에르와 시멘트라는 물성이 더욱 눈길을 사로잡는 시리즈이다.
작가는 시멘트를 이용하여 두꺼운 질감을 표현하는데 “처음에는 경제적 여건으로 사용했던 시멘트라는 재료가 액상에 가까운 상태에서 고체가 되어가는 모습이 삶을 통해 더 단단하게 변해가는 나의 모습과 닮아 있다고 여겨졌고, 그것이 매력으로 다가와 계속 사용하게 되었다”고 한다.

His works are divided into five series: 'Cover-Up', 'Show-Up', 'Greed', 'Rules', and 'Camouflage'.
The characteristic of his work is that it embodies invisible human emotions. Emotions are neither colored nor shaped, but the emotions he expresses are very clear. especially he expresses it in various textures so he Build a robust and unique matière only him. Also he use cement as the main material. At first, he discovered cement because of economic conditions but now he is using it because it's a material that represents him and became his identity.
